Exploring With My Pup Ricky!

Q: Where were you born? How long have you lived in the Western Washington area and what do you like most about it?

A: I was born right here in the Pacific Northwest! I spent my childhood in the Snoqualmie/Northbend area, and after a Boeing transfer, moved up North to the Everett/Marysville area. I have spent time living in King and Skagit county, but have primarily lived in Snohomish county. I love what the PNW  has to offer! We can go from the City to mountains, ocean, rainforest, and even the desert all within a couple hours drive. And even with all that ‘Seattle Rain”, a sunny day in the PNW makes up for all the rain!

Q: How long have you worked in Real Estate?

A: I just got started in 2017! I am very new to the real estate world, but very knowledgeable in the customer service and helping people world!

Q: What did you do before that?

A: I spent 9 years managing a children’s clothing store and even though I loved that business and the customers I worked with, I was ready to move to a different area in business. I continued my education to get my Business Administration Degree. I really wanted to still be able to work one on one with customers, so I decided that real estate would allow me to do that.

Q: What are your specialties and what does that mean for the people you work with?

A:  Marketing residential resale homes, working with first time home buyers and move-up buyers, and corporate relocation clients. I pride myself on being quick and resourceful, my background is to help people any way I can. So whether it is advice on the next step to take, help getting the right information, or you just need someone to get the ball rolling for you, I am the girl for the job! I never lose sight that I’m in the business of helping people move forward in their lives.

Q: What is the most challenging aspect of what you do?

A: Staying educated on the industry trends and local marketplace is HUGE one as well as the one challenge I enjoy the most. My customers/clients trust in me to educate them through the process to assist them in making critical decisions at moments of truth.

Q: What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy a home?

A: Talk to a reputable lender first and determine an affordable price point in your budget before you start home shopping.

Q: What is one tip you have for someone looking to sell a home?

A: While you can do a variety of internet searches to find simple tips in preparing your home before putting it on the market, I suggest you find a Realtor that possesses the quality of displaying marketplace knowledge in assisting you in pricing your home, and can provide a complete and comprehensive marketing plan to give your home maximum exposure.  Keep in mind that you also want an Agent that will communicate with you regularly so you can make an informed decisions throughout the process.  And finally and very importantly...when interviewing Realtors, ask them their strategies on negotiating a contract that can close, and managing a transaction so it WILL close.

Q: Why should someone choose you as their real estate agent?

A: I take pride in bringing my professional experience to every aspect of my career. The ever changing Real Estate industry requires me to stay on top of local market conditions and technological advances in marketing. If you are purchasing your first home, I’ll guide you through the entire process to ensure you are educated from the home search process, contract negotiations, home inspections, all the way through to the close of escrow. My ultimate goal is “top of the line” service.

Q: What do you most enjoy doing when you’re not working?

A: When I am not working I love to spend as much time as I can with family. Traveling is very important to me and I love to see new places, in and out of Washington state. I have a 100lb yellow Labrador mutt named Ricky, that is basically my child, and we like to go on as many outdoor adventures as possible. We love hiking, fishing, boating, camping and all the great things the PNW has to offer! I’ve also taken up golf in the last 3 years and love checking out new courses
